hi, any body works on NHD-1.69-160128UGC3
Graphic Color OLED Display Module with PSoc 5?
hi i need to communicate USBUART (DMA, USUART_LoadInEP) to graph the data, but the program asks me the following configurations:
******************************************************************************************************
h = openserial(p,smode,translation,handshake,xchar,blocking,timeout)
p - port number, or port device name. Numbers are mapped in the following standard way
smode - string, communication parameters, in the form "baud,parity,data_bits,stop_bits"
translation - string, either "auto", "binary", "cr", "crlf" or "lf". Default is "binary".
handshak - string, either "none", "rtscts", "xonxoff" or "dtrdsr"
xchar - xon and xoff characters
timeout - timeout for reading? msec
blocking - boolean, blocking mode of the serial channel. If %t, Scilab hangs until all the requested characters are read from or written to the serial port. Default is %f.
h - string, handle to the serial port file returned by TCL
**********************************************************************************************************
which is chosen for this type of data ???
Show LessHi,
My I2C is not working as desired when including UART start function,
UART_Start();
But if I remove the UART, I2C is working properly.
Please help
Show LessHi guys!
I tried to program my PSoC5 today. Sadly, it is not recognized with the KitProg at all. I have 3.3V on all VDD pins and 1.8V on all VCC pins (generated from internal regulator. I have caps on every pin as explained in the application note. I also recieve a clock on the ck pin and data on the io pin of the SWD interface of the chip. So I am wondering: can I flash that thing with the CY8CKIT-042-BLE or is that my mistake? Or could it be that I broke the chip by applying 5V to the VCC pins (which I first mistakenly did ...)? Or is there something else I have to take into account?
Any help is very much appreciated.
Peace
Noah
Show LessHello,
I made a small template for starting projects on CY8CKIT-059 kit.
It’s useful to me and I shared on GitHub in the hope that it may be useful to others.

See the README.md file for details.

I'm at the point where I need to put the PSoC on a PCB board now.
I was thinking of trying to make it as simple as possible for myself since this is only the prototype, by using the "CY8CKIT-010 PSoC® CY8C58LP Family Processor Module Kit" That comes with the dev board and supplying pin receptacles and power and calling it a day. The fact that cypress supplies the gerbers makes it very tempting.
This would also double as a base board for other PSoC modules as well.
Is this an ok way to approach this? I don't see any immediate issues, and this would allow me to use all of the pins since I need more than the CYKIT-001 dev board supplies. I just don't want to msis anything.
Also this is only the 4th pcb I've made so far, so if I am being naive that's why.
thanks!
