PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
I have been using libusb in visual studio to write console application capable of transferring data to CY8CKIT-050. My code works for Bulk and interrupt transfer i.e. I can send data from computer to PSOC and get it back as well. However, for isochronous transfer it gives LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED. I have searched on the internet and to my understanding libusb doesn't fully support isochronous mode of transfer.
please help me If anyone knows a library with a sample code that can help me writing a code for isochronous transfer. I'm using windows 10 and visual studio 2013 to write a c/c++ console application to communicate with CY8CKIT-050 development kit.
Show LessHello,
I'm interested in creating a bootloadable project to PSoC 5 by Ethernet (connected to PC that holds HEX file).
I'm using Wiznet component (SPI to Ethernet) that acts as slave while my PSoC is the SPI master.
I've read that the bootloader must use SPI slave (In my case), and I'm afraid the whole PSoc-Wiznet-Bootloader communication might not work properly.
Do I have to define a custom bootloader from scratch, or can I base my design on an existing solution.
Thanks in advance,
Igal
Show LessHello,
We are currently working on a project that is creating a small autonomous vehicle. We are having trouble executing multiple functions that we have written. We are able to execute one full forward function but never return to our main to run the reverse function. Upon debugging we found that we get stuck in a while loop located in Cm3start.c file. Any ideas/suggestions as to why we are never returning to our main code after completing one movement function? All help is greatly appreciated. The File for our project is attached.
Thank you,
Richard
Show LessHello!
Is there some way of building a complete onchip signal rectifier using psoc 5LP ?
I strongly suspect that PSoC 5LP can only deal with positive signals. I already tried to use an Opamp with an external diode, but it did not worked.
Show LessHi. I am new to PSoC and need a bit of advice/direction. I'd like to tackle the learning curve by working through the implementation of a project. I plan to contact a Cypress rep directly but thought I would start here with the experts ;-).
I want to create a 2 node WIFI network using my CY8CKIT-050 development kit. I want each node to be uniquely identifiable. There are a few WIFI expansion boards listed on the site but not sure what I really need. Also, I don't know if I can create a multi-node network or if it will be limited to a single node because of a limitation of the development kit.
I would appreciate any advice and/or insights others can offer.
Thanks.
Show LessI finally got a couple of the cy8ckit-059. After updating the PSoC programmer, it says it is programming the LTI-LP097.
It then says Debugging-running, but there is no "pause" enabled.
I thought this was supposed to be a debugger also???? Or did I misunderstand?
Also, once in this mode, you have to un-plug and re-plug to get PSoC creator to see it again.
Show LessI'm implementing a UDB design with a "Count7" as a bit counter. I have Reset, Enable and Load signals to tie into my state machine. I have read the following in the datasheet:
"load - Input. Synchronous active high load signal. Present if enabled.... ....The load signal has no effect if the counter is disabled.".
Does this mean I have to have the counter software and hardware enabled for the load signal to work?
Cheers. Nick.
Show LessHi,
I am back in the PSOC sphere after a few years break, only to find that the CY3250-27XXX-POD and all other pods for the CY3215-DK have been made obsolete.
We find ICE ont the real target is the one thing which shortens time to market, and is crucial to our business.
Is there anything available as a replacement, or is in-circuit debugging done differently?
I would find it most unusual if Cypress did not have an alternative.
Thanks in advance
Ian
