Hello,
I am trying to implement a notch filter with 50 Hz. I followed the example shown in Filter_ADC_VDAC_polled and configured the same. However not getting results. Can anyone help
Show Lesshey, i am completely new to this, wrote a "hello world" code, but upon plugging it in, and selecting it, its recognizing that its a psoc 3, but is saying that it is not supported at this time. in the port settings page, the only 2 things are 1 for voltage(3.3) and acquire mode(reset)
Show LessI want use the USBUART and Bootloadable modules together. Using both modules as their default settings I select USBUART as the Communication component in the Bootloader General tab. I then select OK and build. I get the following message:
"The selected Bootloader IO component is not correctly configured for use with the Bootloader. ..." It then goes on to say it must use EP1 OUT INT and EP2 IN INT. But changing the USBUART endpoints to match this makes the CDC drivers not load on the Host.
Has anyone got this working or does it just not work with the USBUART?
For those who wonder why I don't use USB HID (which does work), I'm using the USBUART in the bootloadable project and want to use the same USB interface for firmware uploading as well so that 2 sets of drivers do not need to be installed for my device.

Show LessHi,
I'm starting a new project with the PSoC 5 but want to use existing code from the PSoC 3 projects. Is there an ap-note for the transition process?
Thank you,
Nick
Show LessI used PSoC Designer 5.4 SP1 on Windows8.1 (Japanese) around half year ago. It worked well.
However now I met a problem during build in same PC.
An error dialog "ilibw.exe has stopped working" appeared, and following error message shown in "output" tab in PSoC Designer.
Output message :
Starting MAKE...
creating project.mk
make: *** [lib/libPSoc.a] Error 255
I tried following items.
- This problem happen in all project in my PC, including sample project.
- Same error happen when I executed ilibw.exe in Windows command-prompt.
- Application error found in windows log. Application name=ilibw.exe, Event ID=1000, Exception code=0xc0000005
- This problem do not happen in Windows safe mode. (Now I use this work-around method.)
Show LessHi.
I'm looking for a way to implement a variable LUT, which can be changed using some king of API.
The problem is that my design is already +70% full, and so far I couldn't find a way to squeeze my ideas into the remaining space.
The LUT size is 3-in 3-out.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Show LessHi all, hope everything goes well.
I have been trying to get familiar with DMA and SPI Master, so i tried to join both topics in one project but i'm having troubles.
Clearing the STATUS Register of the Tx Interrupt of the SPI by reading it inside an interrupt routine is easy, but it takes some CPU intervention (see picture isr_ClearTxSTATUSReg picture and isr file attached), so i was reading AN84810 and found an example where clearing the STATUS Register of PICU was done with DMA, it's just reading the Register to clear the interrupt flags, so i tried to read the SPI Tx Status Register via DMA, here's where i don't get what i expect, the TxInt signal seems not to get asserted when the bytes are sent (see DMA_ClearTxSTATUSReg picture and DMA project file attached).
Any ideas on why i can not see the same TxInt signal behaviour on both cases? I was expecting a little pulse with the DMA approach, smaller than the pulse when i clear the register inside an interrupt.
Hope i explain my problem, i'm not very good explaining xD
Thanks in advance
Carlos
Show Lesswhat effect happened if i reinitialize recourse which i used in psoc 1 in code???
ex.
void main(void)
{
int i=0;
ADC_START();
E2PROM_START();
DAC_START();
UART_START();
while(1)
{
i=i+5;
if(i==1000)
{
main();
}
}
}
Show LessHello Everyone,
I want to configure parity of my uart module at runtime on my PSOC5LE device. I am using UART[v2.50] component and PSOC designer.
To achieve this I had enabled the API control. I went through the component datasheet where it describes to use the UART_WriteControlRegister() API to achieve this task. But I cannot find the macros UART__B_UART__NONE_REVB, UART__B_UART__EVEN_REVB etc... defined in the code.
Please help.
