PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi there,
Does PSOC5 support as many as five CAN controllers? My project needs that much...
I am new to PSOC, after reading articles about CAN in PSOC, datasheet, I cannot answer my question...
Need help
Show LessHi,
I am currently using the PSoC 5 development kit (CY8CKIT-050).
I am unable to communicate in both directions. I wrote a simple program where the master reads the slave data, subtract one and writes it so the slave and the slave reads the master data, add one and writes it so the master. So I got two loops. One loop should count up and the other should count down. When I display both values, both are the same and both loops are counting down.
Thanks
Show LessHello Every one,
I am trying to communicated two PSoC boards (5LP) using bidirectional spi communication but it is not working. I do not know why I am enabling and disabling the TR and RX side correctly.
I have not found any example project on the internet where i can get some help.
I would be very thankful to you if any body can share some example project that can help me.
Looking forward for your answer.
Regards
Show LessHello,
I am trying to communicate with a transceiver over SPI. I am using 16 bit values to transmit data over miso and mosi. I have a sallie logic analyzer that shows that sallie is reading the right values being exchanged. However, when I try to read these values from the SPI Master I am not getting values that make sense or match the Sallie commands that are on MISO. I am using an interrupt that fires when the buffer is not empty. This value will read to a data structure.
For example:
CY_ISR(RX_INTERUPT_Interrupt)
{
/* Place your Interrupt code here. */
/* `#START RX_INTERUPT_Interrupt` */
TS_one->Read = SPIM_1_ReadRxData();//store response in TS2 array
/* `#END` */
}
I send a command like SPIM_1_WriteTxData(0x9700);
Then I want to get what comes back on MISO to be stored in TS_one->Read. I know the right data is sent back due to using Sallie. After the data is written to TS_one I will move it into a different variable and loop again.
Show LessHi all,
Working with a fresh install of Designer 5.4 SP1.
When attempting to build the following errors are thrown:

name translation failed on C:\Program - 2

I attempted one 'fix' by following the directions at the bottom of the thread found here, but the error still persists after the reinstall.
This project was created on an 'old' workstation that has been replaced, the project was copied over to this new workstation without being modified in any way.
Any ideas?
Show LessI have a sensor with 5V supply and two digital pins, supposedly 5V levels, and a 4.7V analog output.
My PSOC is tied to 3.3V supply by hardware.
1) Is it safe to drive these two digital pins with 3.3V outputs from PSOC?
2) Is it ok to sample the 4.7V analog output with the ADC with 6X Vref, i.e. 6.1V? I read that the ADC can measurement up to 6 times of internal reference voltage.
Show LessHello every one, I am doing a project about MQTT protocol and w5100. please help me!
Hi,
I want to make use of entire Port1 of CY8KIT-059 (PSoc5 stick). Unfortunately, Pins 1.0, 1.1 and 1.3 are taken by JTAG and not assignable (screenshot attached). Is there any way to reclaim those pins? Are they become available if using Miniprog3?
