I am using the ADC_SingleEndedMode Example.
#define USBFS_DEVICE (0u)
#define USBUART_BUFFER_SIZE (64u)
#define LINE_STR_LENGTH (20u)
int main()
{
int16 output;
uint8 buffer[USBUART_BUFFER_SIZE];
/* Start the components */
CyGlobalIntEnable;
LCD_Start();
USBUART_Start(USBFS_DEVICE, USBUART_3V_OPERATION);
ADC_DelSig_1_Start();
/* Start the ADC conversion */
ADC_DelSig_1_StartConvert();
/* Display the value of ADC output on LCD */
LCD_Position(0u, 0u);
LCD_PrintString("ADC_Output");
for(;;)
{
if(ADC_DelSig_1_IsEndConversion(ADC_DelSig_1_RETURN_STATUS))
{
output = ADC_DelSig_1_GetResult16();
/* Saturate ADC result to positive numbers. */
if(output < 0)
{
output = 0;
}
USBUART_PutChar(output);
LCD_Position(1u, 0u);
LCD_PrintInt16(output);
}
}
}
Show LessI am using CY8C3866LTI-068.
Even though , Pin no 7,8 and 10 are multi function (GPIO), I am not able to rout it in PSoC for GPIO.
Can I use pin no 7,8,10 for programming / debug only ?
Show LessGood evening,
i'm trying to getting two MPU-9250 working via I2C with PSOC as Master.
Connecting to the bus only one MPU-9250 everything works perfectly!
Using two devices won't work, and the I2C_SendStart() says: I2C Bus Busy!
Testing without any device connected the I2C_SendStart() function says at first attempt: I2C_NAK (it seems the right answer when no devices answers to the call of the PSOC), after from the second attempt I2C answers Bus Busy! To free the bus i have to use the I2C_SendStop() function, but i using it yet... but doesn't free the bus.
The MPU-9250 used is on a IMU breakout board by sparkfun: SparkFun IMU Breakout - MPU-9250 - SEN-13762 - SparkFun Electronics
Thank you for support!
Show LessGoog day
when I try to compile the project in psoc creator appears:
Error: The project has no top component selected. Select/create a new top component.
How do I correct this?
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I want to create a switchable level at an OR gate and switch it via API low -> high -> low ....
Which components are required? There are logic levels low and high, but these are constant and can not be switched via API.
thank you for your help in advance
Show LessI have to interface a CY8C29466 to an Analog Devices ADRF6520. This device uses a 3-wire interface rather than the usual 4-wire. My question is whether it is possible to implement a 3-wire SPI on this device without using an external tri-state device.
The user module datasheet for the SPI master doesn't clearly say that you can do this, but in PSOC Designer I can connect MOSI and MISO to the same row output line. This implies that a 3-wire interface is possible, otherwise this ought to be an illegal connection. But I'm not convinced this is all correct, since I do not see how to tri-state the MOSI output when doing a read operation.
Has anyone had success with this? Thanks for your help.
Show LessWe are considering UART Bootloader with reference to AN 68272.
However, the time required for writing is long.
Therefore, I set the baud rate to 57600, but it still takes 8 minutes.
I confirmed the source code to speed up.
On line 199 in UART_BOOT.c,
"CyDelay (UART_BYTE 2 BYTE_TIME_OUT);" has a waiting time of 25 ms written.
We tried writing with this setting at 2 ms.
With this change, the writing that took 8 minutes has been shortened to about 50 seconds.
It is working without error.
Please confirm that this change is not a problem.
And do you have any material that understands why this is set to 25 ms?
Show LessHi,
I want to realize a small audio application, which should have an audio output and alternatively be able to work as an USB audio input. Two questions:
1) For the audio output, I assume that the line-in voltage of a audio device is typically about 0.775V. Is this correct? So, if I'm using an IDAC with 2mA setting and a 380 Ohm resistor, I'll get about 0.76V. Using an OpAmp in FollowerMode to achieve high current output, I can connect the PSoC5LP directly to a line-in input or drive a headphone with at least 32 Ohm impedance (0.76V divided by 25mA OpAmp output current results in ~30 Ohm) without damaging the device?
2) Anyone has experience with setting up an USB component for USB Audio input? It seems that there's a template for audio input application for the USB decriptors, but I don't know if I can use it directly without modification. Unfortunately there's no example firmware for USB input, only an output example is provided.
Regards
Show Lesshello I am currently using the sparkfun 2 , and in my project i am using ADC is it posibbile to see the resolt of the adc on the computer screen and not only on external LCD screen (for exmpale in arduino to see the resolt on the cumputer you press serial command ) is there a comnd similar to the Serial like in Arduino but in Cypress ?
