PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hello,
I would like to setup a PLC System on DC bus.
The LV Evaluation kit is obsolete, is there any suitable product available, if there is only a power supply of 24V?
Thanks and kind regards
Chris
Show LessFor a new project I started with AN82072 - PSoC 3 and PSoC 5LP USB General Data Transfer with Standard HID Drivers
First all works fine of course.
Then I changed resolution of the ADC to 8 bit and data only is transferred when there is a change in ADC value or push button status.
( As in my new project: device only should send data when there is a request from host or when new data is available from device)
Windows OS then reports a problem with the application Generic HID UI.
In the Cypress CyUSB.NET DLL Programmer's Reference I found following note: ReadInput will hang indefinitely if the device does not have an Input report ready to be read.
and
Cypress Suite USB Release Notes / Known Issues tells:
3. In cyusb.dll, ReadInput() API will hang if the device does not have an input report ready.
So, how can the Windows Host Application determine whether there's an input available to use the ReadInput() command or is there any other way to get data from device?
I'm not a specialist in Windows Host programming so I would appreciate any simple solution.
Show LessDear Sir/Madam,
I have a question about CY8C22645.
CY8C22645 is mounted on the board.
Q.
When the CY8C22645 is not turned on, what is the state of I/O?
Is it Hi-Z?
Best Regards,
Show LessDear All
I have a problem with CY8CKIT-001 Rev*B development board and CY8C58LP Processor Module Rev**. There is the MiniProg3 connected to the processor module. The "Port Acquire" command from "PSoC Creator 4.2 -> Select Debug Target" returns an error "There was an error running port acquire: Can not acquire SWD device!"
The same operation performed on this development board populated with the old CY8C55 processor module succeeds. Of course, further work with PSoC Creator is not possible in such configuration.
My question is if it is an incompatibility issue between different revisions of development board (Rev**) and 5LP processor module (Rev*B) or the CY8C58LP Processor Module is probably damaged.
Best regards
Grzegorz
Show LessI am designing the universal data-logger. Succeeded in rtd,tc,4-20ma etc. I was planning to make use of internal psoc resources. I need to use one anloag mux to scan the channels and output of this analog mux should be given to Hw_analog mux (configured as hw analog demux i.,e as per datasheet). But creator gives error that net of mux should be connected to pins . I know that mux needs to be connected to pins only . But Is there any method to interconnect these components internally of psoc analog section.
Please guide for the same as if this succeeds then my hardware cost of using external analog mux-- demux will reduce .
Show Lesshey,
before I jump into creating it, I was wondering if anyone had a PSoC 5lp project or include file that sets up both the USB UART and Printf? I have a project I want to do that would use both, and I figured I may as well not reinvent the wheel. I've done each in the past, but I would love to find a nice utilities.c that handles it for me. since I couldn't find it through google, I figured it might also be nice to make a post here for the next guy who might be searching for it. unfortunately, if I create it, it would be at work and they probably wouldn't want me posting my work online
Thanks
Show LessDear community,
I have been working with ADC D-S of psoc5lp with no success to amplify 2 diferential signals with 5mVpp as maximum. I have read different documents and I'm very confused about this.
In page 9 of reference document of ADC Delta-Sigma 3.30 the range with Input ± Vref with Vref=1.024V should be: -1.024±1.024= 0V to 2.048. Why in example of CE95271 with the same condition Vref=1.024 on negative pin of ADC, in page 2 says that if positive enter of ADC is 0 the converted value is -1.024 or if is 1.024 the value is 0; so the range doesn't go from 0V to 2.048 as page 9 of ADC Delta-Sigma 3.30 established? then the range to work can support until 2.048 V as a valid value to work???? 2.048 -> 1.024V? Or can I even enter 3V signal with no problem at all? with VDD=5V?
This is very confused, please any help you can provide me will be very appreciated, thanks in advance.
Show LessHello,
in my application i can't wait for a command to decide if bootloader or application should compute.
Is there a way to make this decision by pull an GPIO up/down?
thanks a lot
Show LessCan I program the CY8c24894 using the miniprog3 ? It doesn't seem to be listed in the miniprog3 device family list.
If yes, is there a way to load the CY8C24894 family to the miniProg3 SW app?
Thanks
