PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Good Day,
Does anyone know if there's a dev kit available for the CY8C9560A IC? I need to drive 16 independent channels of PWM output.
Thank you.
Show LessGreetings!
I'm using PSoC 5LP MCU in my project. I'm interfacing CY8CMBR3116 CapSense controller with PSoC through I2C communication.
My requirement is that the CapSense LEDs should glow at the beginning. When I touch a CapSense, the respective CapSense LED should keep blinking until the CapSense is pressed again.
But I'm unable to blink the CapSense LED. I tried to do it using PWM_DUTYCYCLE_CFG1 [for the CapSense at CS1 pin] register but the LED does not blink.
Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Vinay
Show LessHello everyone,
Recently, I need to use I2C master component to read specific byte from slave with PSoC5LP development kit, but the mechanism in the I2C master sample code shows how to read whole buffer from slave.
What I want is to when I key in 0x07 to PSoC, then the I2C master component will only read the value of 7th byte from slave without reading Byte0-6. Is there any hint/direction/sample code for me to implement the function?
Show LessThis is probably the wrong community but I can't seem to find one just for the CY8CKIT developer kit, but maybe someone can answer this or direct me to the right place.
I'm working on a basic SPI project using the CY8CKIT-001 with the PSoC5LP module and see a header, beside the prototype breadboard, with pins marked as "MOSI, MISO, SCK, nSS, IRQ", etc. Can I use those pins to connect to my SPI slave? If so, to what ports do they mapped to on the PSoC?
Show LessDear sir /madam
we want to develop solar micro inverter 230VAC with MPPT charge controller, inverter rating should be around 300VA to 400VA .
cypress demo board given in application note AN76496 will mach our requirement if inverter output can be change to 230VAC . also i have one question " if we don't connect grid AC power to inverter board will it work ?? as we don't need grid tie system .
we already get very delay in this project and i am very new in cypress MCU part so please help me with design file and schematic so that i can start this project immediately
Thank you

Show LessHello,
I am trying to use the PSoC 5lp as a fast timer. I have a start pulse and a stop pulse, I am able to acquire correctly these pulses but I am not sure about the minimum delay that I can measure between them. I run the processor at 50MHz and I can go down to 1us without any problem, can I reduce further that delay ? Which is the limit of the PSoC 5lp ?
Thank you

Show LessHi,
My product has an i2c connection (Vcc, Gnd, Sda, Scl) which is easy accessable. Programming connection are inside the product and difficult to access.
Until now I use a bootloader which waits 2 seconds for i2c bootloader trigger and after that it starts the normal application with the possibility to skip this waiting time by i2c command
It works but makes startup procedures and bootloading pretty complex to start [not only using the I2C Bootloading Application].
Now I was thinking why not trigger the bootloader by applying 5V0 to the Vcc ? My application always uses 3V3 so if I let the bootloader start as soon as 5V0 is applied it would make life much easier.
Before rewriting this part of my project I would like to know does anyone use this same concept ? Am I overlooking something ?
Thanks
Patrick
Show LessHi community, it's me again. I have had a very good time working on my project. I am developing an EMG Measuring device. My purpuse is to send ADC signals through serial port
I am using these modules
ADC SAR --> FILTER --> VDAC --> ADC DELSIG --> UART.
The signal filtered that comes back from the VDAC goes back to the ADC DELSIG. I haven't found a way to transmit directly from the filter to the UART through polling or DMA. I tried through DMA with the following register UART_TXDATA_PTR, but I get some random output in the serial port. Do you have any ideas? I would appreciate it.
