In "The Patron Saints of Cypress Blog", James Davis talks about using Track and Hold components. I would love to use them, but I can't seem to find that component anywhere in the list of available components.
The Track and Hold component has not been released yet, but I understand that it will be released in a future version of PSoC Creator. Meanwhile, you may be able to implement a sample and hold using the mixer. I suggest having a look at application note AN60321 - Peak Detection with PSoC® 3 and PSoC 5, here: www.cypress.com/ , which uses the mixer as a sample and hold.
