First and foremost method is to use the M8C_Sleep macro. This powers down the internal main oscillator (IMO), flash memory, and the bandgap voltage reference.
The other power saving techniques:
1. Disable Analog Block References
2. Disable Analog Buffers
3. Disable CT/SC Blocks
4. Set GPIO Drive Modes to Analog HI-Z
