How to do oversampling using SAR ADC?

Hello Everyone,

   

I want to increase no of samples and for that i want to do oversampling. Could any body guide me how i can do this?

   

I am using SAR ADC in PSOC 5 LP.

When you want to digitize a frequency f the minimum sample rate is 2f (Nyquist). So anything higher than Nyquist is usually called "oversampling". A factor of 5 to 10 (10f to 20f) will be sufficient. As you can see a low-pass filter with cutoff at f + will improve the digitization.

   

The fewer channels you have got, the more samples per second you can take.
