How do I control the output enable on a digital output? I do not see anything obvious in the API.

It's a bug.  Thanks for bringing this to my attention.  The output enable lies in the hardware domain (aka connects to another block via the H/W schematic).  I'll file a report into our defect tracking system.  What it should do is one of these two options (depending on how we fix it):

   

    
1. When you uncheck "HW Connection" the "Output Enable" option becomes grayed out
    
2. When you uncheck "HW Connection" the "Output Enable" option still exists, but the output enable needs to be hardware connected to something else in your schematic (is not controlled by a S/W API)
