Hey guys,
Any plans at Cypress for a DIP package for the PSoC3/5? Recently came across announcements from both Microchip and NXP doing so for their new 32bit chips, and wondered if there are any similar plans in the PSoC 3/5 camp.(fingers crossed)

I think the DIP package are more for price sensitive products and PSoC is not trying to be the cheapest in the market, they provide something different. I do like to have DIP parts for my hobby project, but for commerical production project, I don't see the need to have it. And if there is a need to use prototype board for simple project, there are SMD to 0.1 inch converter a few dollars from the ebay
