Greetings,

I would like to ask you, can CY8CKIT-031 be used with CY8CKIT-059? Or do I have to buy CY8CKIT-050 ?

I already have -059. I would like to use -031, but it is quite expensive to buy both -031 and -050.

The -031 has got a bus connector that fits only to a -50 kit.

But when you want to start with a few  buttons and sliders, there are some PSoC4 kits for few money. With some conductive ink you could even draw your own button and slider design.

I know that -059 doesn't have that connector. I was thinking about making one small PCB, which would connect -059 pins to -031. Will this work?

Yes, that will work. As I suggested, I built some proof-of-concepts using conductive ink. Took me one day to finish, including documentation.

That are good news.

Could you tell me more about conductive ink? Where I can get it? How will I print it? And where? Is it just a paper, or is it some special kind of paper?

I used two layers foil for overhead slides and draw with a pen. I am sitting here in Germany, so you should find sources for conductive ink yourself.

So, I've made a board, which should allow me to connect CapSense devices from -031 kit to -059 kit.

Could someone please take a look at it, and tell me what issues I have?
