That is a rather interesting application! Although the additional board needed is no longer availlable the used procedures stay the same. Thank you for digging this out!

As you can see the example project is 2008, very current.

The example project was last updated in 2010. However using it in newer versions of PSoC Designer should not break the functionality. If it all it does, we are here to fix it!

Arvi, certainly seems if its being advertised as a solution Cypress should

   

check it out in 5.3 ? At ther very least see if it rioutes, compiles. Just sayin.....
