The CYBLE-212020 is a PSoC4BLE module which supports BLE 4.2.

I think it can satisfy your request if you just use it for BLE data transfer. This module has a EZ-Serial firmware with it which supports the AT command from UART. You can find the firmware and user guide about the AT command here: https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-serial-ez-ble-module-firmware-platform . Please refer to the user guide v1.1.1.

Hi,

I guess you wanted to use the CYBLE-212020 as BLE controller correct?

CYBLE212020 supports BLE controller mode connected to host where the Host-controller interface is supported by UART (flow control can also be enabled).

Please refer Section F, Volume 6 of the BLE Spec 4.2 for the HCI commands. The spec is attached with this thread. You can use the template project Day18_Direct_Test_Mode from the link below:

PSoC-4-BLE/100_Projects_in_100_Days at master · cypresssemiconductorco/PSoC-4-BLE · GitHub

Please reply back if our understanding is not correct or if you need any other information.

Thanks

Ganesh
