PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
By default, SP points to MSP on init.
Steps used:
1. Set MSP and PSP registers.
2. Assert SP reset to MSP upon setting.
3. Set CONTROL[1] to switch SP to PSP.
4. Asset CONTROL[1] as "high"
Issue:
SP still points to MSP. SP is not switching to PSP.
Question:
Are you aware of such behaviour? if yes, Is there any work around?

Want to add some assembly instruction in c code.
By default, it compiles in thumb mode, want to compile instruction as ARM mode.
Device config used: PSoC4 default device.
Show LessI would like to know how to start making our own projects using the PSOC module . I have understood the basics of ADC and the blinking programs. I would also like help regarding the commands used in the program, for a cusom design rather than an example project.
Show LessIs there any reason why a capsense button cannot be placed in the centre of a radial slider? Assuming enough ground clearance is left around the button.

I am going through the PSoC 4 development kit User guide and need to know what is the significance of capacitor Ctank and Cmod in the module.

Show LessHi,
Took the SPDIF_Tx component from a PSoC 5 project and see it's marked incompatible on the PSoC 4 board.
Any simple ways to get this running here? I assume resource-wise we should be fine.
I basically want to make a simple "signal generator" that outputs two S/PDIF signals at various sample-rates.
Thoughts / Tips?

Show LessHello ,
I need help to understand I2C programming for psoc 4. I don't have enough knowledge about I2C communication. I looked some project sample But Its not clear for me
how to write basic sample code for I2C communication. ?
1.start I2C
2. Writes data over I2C
3.stop I2C
4. start I2C
5. Reads data from I2C
Show LessI get an error while trying to route the output of the IDAC to port 4 pins. It says "no valid path found"
But the GPIO specification sheet states that the IDAC is connected to the analog bus which may be routed to any port except port 3. Why then is there a difficulty with port 4.
Please help.
Thanks
Show LessHi,
Sorry for the noob question.
I am interested in these prototype boards, but how to identify the micro-controller used in the board.
and
Read the datasheets for both the boards, but they dont mention anything about the micro-controller used.
thanks
