PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Dear Community,
I am trying to set up my first I²C BUS with an CY8CKIT-04 of the 4M-Series. I think I understood the provided example program and was able to work with it.
Now I am limited by the data rate of 1000 kbps which seems to be the Fast Mode Plus.
Is there any way to realize the 5 MHz Ultra-Fast-Mode of I²C with any PSoC Devise?
If it is not possible, do you have any recommendations for faster Communication between PSoCs?
Thanks in advance.
Show LessGood evening,
hello all, please share interfacing diagram of character lcd and cy8c4045azi445. i already tried with example code but data is not receiving on lcd.
thank you!!
Show LessHello, I've used the PSOC 4 and PSOC 5 and like using the PSOC Creator IDE for code development. I've now stumbled on the GUI generation with the PSOC microcontrollers. I want to learn more, can anyone tell me what software I need in order to create GUI's for the PSOC 4 and 5? Are there any videos on the steps to create GUI's? Kinda like the PSOC 101 videos on youtube.
Thank you
Show LessHi, I'm using the CYBLE222014-01. I've used the Vref pin (buffers activated) to supply a 1.024v reference voltage to an external circuit. I use this at the input pin of a photodiode amplifier, and at the anode of the photodiode. The total current on the Vref pin is only about 1 nA. However, when the photocurrent changes, the value of Vref changes. Why? Nothing in the TRM explains this. How does the Vref circuit work internally?
Here is the external circuit:
And here is the behaviour. Blocks 1, 2, and 4 caused the signal to hit the rail. Block 3 was within range the whole time, and the Vref still drifted.
Any help would be very appreciated.

How to handle the xxx.cyacd programing based on previous hex file environment.
Kit: CY8CKIT-005 MiniProg4 Program and Debug Kit
Installed file: PSoCProgrammerSetup_3.29.1_b4659_0.exe
Auto programing EXE: ppcli.exe
Manual programing EXE: PSoCProgrammer.exe
IC Type:CY8C4245LQI-483
Connector: SWD Programming
FW Hex File: Cypress_xxxxxx.hex
But there's a ECN now that the FW format has been changed from HEX to CYACD. So would you please give me some advice how to handle that, such as the kit, exe file, and so on, thanks.
Show LessHello, I need to run my PSOC4 microcontroller at 5.5V and I'm wondering if the MiniProg3 is compatible at 5.5V on the pin 1 programming header?

hello everyone,
I am using PSOC 4 MCU(CY8C4126AXQ-S433) in my project. There is no problem reading the NTC in my project. NTC also need to check for open circuit and short circuit conditions in software. In an open circuit, the adc result is correct, but when I make a short, I get the result as an open circuit. There is no problem with the circuit diagram. I am using psoc creator 4.4 as IDE. How can I solve this situation. Could you help? The ADC configuration interface in the IDE is as in the photos.

Hi, I have a plan to use CY8C4248BZI-L469 to control two BLDC motors.
Does it have the capability to control two motors simultaneously using FOC algorithm ?
Show LessI'm trying to find svd files for the psoc4 family of chips in order to generate rust code for the hardware. A similar question has been asked for the psoc 6 family of chips but there wasn't ever an answer given.
The best I have been able to find are the svd files that psoc creator generates when exporting to eclipse but these don't fully describe the chip.
Does anyone know where to download svd files that fully (or at least mostly) describe these chips?
