We produce products with CYBL10161,but all products have the same Bluetooth mac address。we must set the mac address by uart to send commond after programmed 。but it is too complicated。i want to ask Is there a more convenient way to automatically generate the mac address at the time of programmed 。thanks for help。
Show LessI would like to know if is possible to use only the BLE link layer disabling the host in the POcC 4 BLE
Hi everyone,
I had a similar situation to the topic posted here: http://www.cypress.com/forum/psoc-4-architecture/reset-i2c
I'm trying to communicate with an I2C device but sometimes the device is hung up, (SDA low), and it doesn't work until I turn off the power, I was trying to use teh directives of the previous post, but the new component doesn't include them.
while(I2C_1_sda_Read() == 0) // SDA hang low
{
I2C_1_SET_I2C_SCL_HSIOM_SEL(I2C_1_HSIOM_GPIO_SEL); //Switch to GPIO
I2C_1_scl_Write(0);
CyDelay(1);
I2C_1_scl_Write(1);
CyDelay(1);
I2C_1_SET_I2C_SCL_HSIOM_SEL(I2C_1_HSIOM_I2C_SEL); //Switch to Component
}
I2C_1_I2CMasterSendStop();
Is there another way to reset the I2C bus and get out from the infinite loop (Waiting ACK or NACK) in case the device got hung in the middle of the program?
Show LessHello,
I am new to this community and have no solid idea where to put this.
I find out that side effect of TCPWM_WritePeriod() function in Timer mode is same as in PWM mode but in datasheet mentioned only for PWM (screen shot attached).
I am using CY8C4247AZI-M485 and PSoC Creator 3.3

Hi,
I am working with the CY8CKIT-042-BLE PSoC 4/PRoC Pioneer Kit. I tried to run one of the example projects ( #29) on writing to SFlash and was not successful. The program seems to go into an infinite loop. In debug mode the program stops at CY_ISR(IntDefaultHandler). I haven't made any changes to the code and I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Show LessI want to use my CY8CKIT-042-BLE to configue an SPI that will drive an external Sharp Memory LCD. The Sharp must be clocked at a frequency between .5 and 1.0 MgHz. And it must also have a 1Hz or so clock for non-polarization purposes. Not having any luck with the (widely spread) documentation on how to make an SPI or PSoC 4 BLE system output a .5-1 MgHz clock or a 1Hz clock. Any suggestions?
Show LessFirst,please forgive me for my poor English.
Which protocol is used when we write a program to the clip (like CYBL10563)? I guess I2C. Am I right?
I'm a rookie here.
Show LessI'm trying to send 3 bytes of data to a DAC, MAX5217, trough I2C. But I can't seem so send more than 2 bytes before the communication stops.
I'm doing:
temp = I2CM_I2CMasterWriteBuf(I2C_SLAVE_ADDRESS, (uint8 *) sample,
WR_BUFFER_SIZE , I2CM_I2C_MODE_COMPLETE_XFER);
With WR_BUFFER_SIZE set to 3, but I only see the address + the first 2 bytes of my data with an oscilloscope. Setting the WR_BUFFER_SIZE to 1, sends 1 byte, anything above 1 sends 2 bytes.
Any ideas?
Show LessI finished a project using the Pioneer CY8CKIT-042-BLE. I am trying to find a simple breakout board that I can plug the CY8CKIT-142 module into to demo the project to the customer. I have searched around but no luck.
