I've been working on using the PSoC 4 as a data acquisition ucontroller, communicating with a master uC as a slave SPI device. I've managed to get the master and slave communicating, and have a capsense block configured, but as soon as I call CapSense_Start() and CapSense_initializeAllBaselines() the SPI communication stops working.
The commented code is what I would like to have implemented, and the uncommented code is working code that just mirrors back a message to the SPI master. Any ideas as to why capSense causes SPI to fail?
Show LessHello. I am using the CY8CKIT-042-BLE pioneer kit. I am trying to use the UART component to send characters to a putty terminal on my desktop computer. I have the UART configuration correct on both sides (baud rate, etc.) but I never get any characters in my putty window. I have attached my simple project. Can you please help me?
Show LessDoes PSoC4 BLE support FreeRTOS with BLE stack?
I have ported FreeRTOS on PoSoC4 BLE, advertising and connection is ok,but service discorvery didn't work.
Can you help me?
Show LessI use the SPI Master v2.5.
I have to read data from external RAM via SPI. I measured the time to write to internal SPI Master register like SPIM_1_WriteTxData(Adress>>16),
where SPIM_1 is the SPI Master. This access takes ~3.5µs, writing direct data like SPIM_1_WriteTxData(0x64) takes ~3.3µs. That means at 48MHz clock ~175 clock cycles.
Is there any way to speed up the register access? Is it better to directly write the SPI registers without using the API? Or is there something else I missed?

Show LessHello I'm new in this forum
I'm trying to use the get_sensorcp(); API but I don't know how can I look for the result. I looked in the datasheet but I don't see
any example, please help.
Show LessHi Support Team,
Could you please help me in resolving the issue where my BLE custom services and characteristics are not shown as per their name. They are being shown as UNKNOWN. It might be something very trivial but I could not find a way... I tried setting different UUIDs but no success!!
Please help!!
Thanks.

Show LessJust received 4 PSOC 4 BLE modules (CY8CKIT-143A) and much to my surprise they don't appear as selectable devices (CY8C4248LQI-BL583) in PSOC Creator 3.3 SP1.
What am I missing?
Show LessHello,
I,m really new with BLE and i would like to know if it's possible to create a network with for example 4 BLE? That mean 1 master and 3 slaves.
Best regards
Show LessHello,
I would like to ask if i can somehow relate events from CySmart PC tool to BLE API events available in PSOCCreator.
For example some of events from CySmart Log view:
[13:56:45:195] : 'Pairing Request Notification' event received
[13:57:01:202] : 'Misc Event Notification' received
[13:57:01:217] : 'Get Bonded Devices List' request sent
Thanks!
Show LessHi,
I thought I'd share this and perhaps get an explanation. Was struggling to get CySysPmHibernate to wake and reset on a GPIO interrupt... turned out the issue was my high frequency clocks were set to ECO rather than IMO. But I'm wondering why this is - after all Hibernate stops all clocks (AN86233 3.3.2 ), so why would the GPIO interrupt require the clocks configured that way to operate and wake up? This is with a CYBLE-022001-00.
Thanks
