Select CapSense's tuning mode as SmartSense(Full Auto-Tune).
Why can not I set the CapSense Modulator clock frequency to less than 6000 kHz?

Show LessHi,
I can get some Schematics Symbols and PCB Footprints document, like PSoC_41xxS_Family_Schematics_Symbols_and_PCB_Footprints.zip in http://www.cypress.com/cad-resources/psoc-4-cad-libraries page, but I can find the document of PSoC 4100S Pluse family.Where can I find the Schematics Symbols and PCB Footprints document of PSoC 4100S Pluse?
Show LessMy product uses CYBLE-222014-01 with EZ-Serial V1.1.1 I want to be sure of ordering these parts programmed with the correct firmware. What must I specify to be sure of getting this ?
I have previously asked this question, and been told that all parts after <date> have this, but I have no way of knowing when the parts supplied by my CM were shipped.
Is there a particular first date code or part number I can request ?
The parts I have been given have no recognizable date code and the wrong firmware.
Show LessHi @ll,
I am pleased to announce that from now the free FORTH Mecrisp-Stellaris in the latest version 2.4.2 for the Eva-Kit-049 with the PSoC cy8c4245azi is available for download.
See: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mecrisp/files/ >>> mecrisp-stellaris-2.4.2 for cy8c4245axi.zip
So currently supported three Eva-Kids: -049, -050 and -059.
See also: >>> mecrisp-stellaris-2.4.2 for cy8c5868axi.zip and mecrisp-stellaris-2.4.2 for cy8c5888lti.zip
Another porting for the Eva-Kit-043 is for now in progress. The porting for the PSoC 6 is also planned. With this FORTH-pagage it is possible to test all C-applications interactively without debugger. The Kernel have integrated an interpreter and compiler. The Compiler is extendabel in FORTH itself.

Show LessHi everyone,
for my application (on cyble022001 module) I have the necessity to change the device name. So I had do it, but now I want to disable or enable the write property.
I tryed enable/disable the Generic Access Service with CyBle_GattsDisableAttribute but seem that it works only with custom service, not with Generic Access Service.
Is there a way to disable or enable the Device name characteristic (or write property) via software?
Thanks for help.
Show LessHi all,
My setup consists of a PSoC 4200 BLE based peripheral device acting as BLE Server Peripheral & another PSoC 4200 BLE based device acting as Central / Client device. The Central / Client device has on it an UART interface.
What I'm trying do is to update the firmware of the Server Peripheral device Over The Air (OTA) via BLE channel, by using the Central / Client device. In other words, the Central Client should emitted -via BLE- the new Firmware to the Server / Peripheral.
I do OTA by using the CySmart application as firmware transmitter for the Server / Peripheral, and works fine. But I can't find a way to send the firmware from another PSoC 4200 BLE device.
What I am asking is if this is viable or not. The firmware could be send to Central / Client device via a UART interface.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
I'm using CY8CKIT-048 PSoC Analog Coprocessor Pioneer Kit and I am trying to make an FSK demodulator. I tried implementing the demodulator by following and modifying AN2336 made for PSoC1, but I run into problems when I want to filter correlator output signal.
I attached my project so you can check it out.
I am generating a sine wave test signal using PWM, DMA and VDAC. Sine wave table and generated sine wave frequencies are set up so that I should get a capital letter 'U' at demodulator output. That signal is connected to a comparator. Comparator output signal is routed into SmartI/O component in which I implemented a shift register. XORing original signal and signal delayed using a shift register should give me an output of high or low duty cycle, based on the frequency of the sine wave, and that signal should be connected to UART and UART should sent that data to my pc where I can see the output data of demodulator in a terminal. But that correlator output signal has some pulses i would like to iron out because I don't get good enough results. I attached a screenshot from the oscilloscope so you can see what I mean. Yellow channel is the signal I need to iron out.
How do I filter these pulses out? This PSoC doesn't have any digital filtering or glitch filter components as far as I know.
Thanks,
Tomislav
Show LessMany times PSOC as Slove touch the touch of MCU and MUC control communication complex function, as shown in the figure below for typical topology diagram, such as STM32F7 as master, CY8C4014LQI as touch, need to have the following questions need to be solved:
1. What is the slave address of STM32F7 through IIC and CY8C4014LQI?
2. How can STM32F7 know when a button is pressed? Is it STM32F7 to read the IIC data on a regular basis?
3. CY8C4014LQI is changed from the dormant state of the non-touch to the activated state with touch press. What is the output of the reminder?
4. If CY8C4014LQI needs to implement complex touch algorithm, the algorithm is implemented in CY8C4014LQI or directly read different touch value algorithms in the main MCU.
5. Please provide examples of relevant touching and other MCU communication.
6、 Is there any problem with the interface between the touch of CY8C4014 and other MCU in the following schematic diagram?

- I am using serial port for getting hex file and then writing it on external flash.
- Bootloader contains software for updating the application after reading from external flash and writing on internal flash.
- Bootloader, application and update is working perfectly fine.
New requirement:
Now I want to divide the application section further.
Bootloader | Network (BLE stack) | Application
BLE stack takes a lot of space and every-time there is an update on application updating the BLE stack seems irrelevant & time consuming. Benefit of this approach is
- If there is a change in application we only upgrade application flash.
- If there is change in BLE stack we only upgrade Network flash.
- If there is change in both We update both.
What I am mentioning was easily implemented in ST & other controllers because we used to jump between applications using function pointers. My question is :
- How can I do same in Cypress ?
