The "Hardware scan time" is displayed on the CapSense component setting screen.
Do these ”hardware scan time” fluctuate due to external influences?

Show LessHi,
I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I've been developing with PSOC for a while now for a whole bunch of projects however I've just really started to drill down into the Lowest of Low Power modes. I'm primarily working with BLE in all applications on the 222005-00 module, however whatever I try I cannot seem to maintain a long deep sleep period when connected to BLE.
I wondered if I was making a mistake with the BLE preventing it from going to sleep fully, I've setup the BLE with a 4000 interval (min and max) but when connecting the unit up to a logic probe I can see its waking up every 50ms, what is more its sleeping for just 8ms each cycle. Which means it's really on more than it is off (safe to say not the Low Power result I was hoping for).
I've tried a bunch of examples with very little success, the only indication I have that it is possible is that in the advertising state with a 1000ms advertisement interval it is quite happy waking up every 1s and staying in deep sleep between those points. As soon as I connect it to a device (phone in this case) returns to the 50ms interval, and sleeping for just 8ms.
I assumed that with a 4000ms connection interval set in the BLE component it would be asleep for a comfortable ~39##. I guess a big question would be am I in a misconception about the 4000ms connection interval only waking up after 4000ms (or does it need to wake up every 50ms for sync?). If that is the case then how do you ever achieve the supposed average of 5-7uA on a 4000ms connection interval?
NB: SWD pins are set as GPIO, release not debug mode. . .
Any suggestions?
Show LessHi, I am configuring Bluetooth profile. BLE device has got data to transfer it to app.
But same time App is sending various commands and based on those command BLE device should send the data to app.
what type of profile is suitable for Bluetooth? Do I need to go for HCI interface or Profile is okay for the Implementation?
Show LessHI
Encountered this rare behavior in some of my devices running PSoC BLE 4200.
After sending the ACD module to sleep using XXX_Sleep()
On wakeup, using XXX_Wakeup, a conversion started, and conversion timeout occurred. (This later was followed by a watchdog reset...)
My question is why did this conversion take place? I did not ask for it.
My ADC is configured to HW trigger mode.
Thanks.
Show LessHello,
We know that the vref voltage of PSoC4000S CapSense Component depends on the VDDA voltage in Electrical Specifications of
the CapSense component datasheet and KBA220609.
If the VDDA changes the voltage from +3.3V to +2.6V, does the vref voltage follow the VDDA from 2.021V to 1.477V ?
Or It does not follow the VDDA because it is set the voltage when the CapSense_Start() function is done.
Which is correct?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessDear all,
I 'd like to read characteristic value (say a sensor) from any of the peripheral devices according to their store address.
In a similar method of writing to a specific peripheral, could it be feasible with the same directed methodology used in the project, relaying the data back from a addressed peripheral to the Cysmart app?
Thanks

Show LessI can read hex file by programmer from flash, and compare it with the original, and find that the difference is in hex file all capital letters change to low case, for example , A changes to a, and B changes to b, and so on . At the same time, I also notice that the two files are different at the end of the files.
Show Less1)Why don't Flat spots occur when PRS is used?
Please tell this mechanism.
2)Why will the system use a direct clock as sense clock source that drives FSW by default?
(Why don't PRS used by default?)

Show LessI am having a heck of a time trying to clear an interrupt using the timer function on a TCPPWM component. The API states to use void ISR_ClearPending(void) but this does not appear in the API when i try to use it. The data sheet also talks about block/status register needing to be read/cleared, but doe snot tell how this is done. Could i get some help on how to do this properly. I will also attach my project for reference.

Our customer want to do underfill process in their PCB, could you help confirm the material is OK or not.
1. Zymet X2821 ?
2. Fuji UF317H ?
If not, could you provide the recommend underfill material.
