PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
hi CYPRESS:
when i use cypress psoc4 as the main mcu, and the io pin as touch key; but sometime ,i will occur to stuck in the power on ,
when i see the rawcount & baseline in the tuner , the Rawcount is close to baseline and the baseline can't come to lower position, so the
touch can't work , do you have any advice?
Show LessHello Community and RajathB_01,
we've bought CCG3PA and CCG4 with part numbers
CCG3PA: CYPD3171-24LQXQ
CCG4: CYPD4126-40LQXI from DIGIKEY website.
I am trying to update Firmware through PSOC Creator 4.2 using Miniprog but Unable to Acquire port. It is giving me a error as shown in picture below.
What could be the Possibilities for this issue to occur and How can I sort this issue out ?
Thanks & Regards,
Pranay.
Show LessHello,
I have a question.
When I use PWM component to output on GPIO if I execute "PWM_Init()" and have waiting time before "PWM_Enable()", GPIO seems to be Hi-Z at that time .
Similaly, when I use PWM component to output on GPIO from SmartIO if I execute "PWM_Init()" and not execute "PWM_Enable()", is Pin_PWM output unstable or does it occur latch-up?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessHello,
I am trying to establish an I2C connection from PSoC 4 device to PSoC 4.2 using two different development kits, but there doesn't seem to be any transfer of data between the two devices. I initially felt it had to do with the internal pull-up resistors, but the PSoC 4 Kit already have the internal pull up resistors enabled for the GPIO I2C ports (P1.3 and P1.2). I made the interconnections between the two development kits for I2C ports (SDA, SCL) and the GND connection. I am not sure whether it is the differences in Firmware versions that is not letting the devices connect over I2C.
Can anyone review and help me in finding the issue?
Thanks and Regards,

Show LessHello
Please tell me about the design of CapSense.
According to the design guide,"the gap between the sensor pad and the ground hatch should be equals to the overlay thickness".(MAX 2mm)
https://www.cypress.com/file/46081/download (P.94)
If there is no space on the board,is it not a problem to make this gap 1.5mm?
Sensing method ・・・CSD
Sensor pad diameter・・・8㎜
Show LessDear Sir,
I use CYBL10573 to driver LED matrix 8COM x 7 SEG, but I only find there are LCD Driver for 4COM, what is better way to driver the LED matrix?
Thanks!

Show LessHello,
I'm trying to use the emulated eeprom in a project, and I noticed that when I try to write something on the EM_EEPROM it would change the values of my global variables and break my code.
When I was debugging i noticed on the function Cy_Em_EEPROM_Write, the variables address are overlapping the other variable addresses:
wearLevelingFactor 0x00000001 0x2000024C (All) unsigned long
emEepromRowAddr 0x00000001 0x2000024C (All) unsigned long
On the pictures you can see that emEepromRowAddr is getting the same address than context->wearLevelingFactor
Does anyone know what could be the issue that is causing this?
Thank you!
Show LessHello,
i have errors with the information: 'arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe' failed with exit code '1' during compiling .
Unfortunately, there is no more details about what to do. Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

Show LessWe have an existing design that uses the CYBLE-222005-00. This part is now on LTB and is replaced by CYBLE-222014-01.
Will our old code run on this new part without modification?
If it is backward compatible are there any other consequences to not re-compiling for the newer device?
Many thank for any answers in advance.
