Hello all,
I have discovered an error while testing my ble server device over CySmart Windows app. When I click to the "Discover All Attributes" button after the connection, I get below error:
[17:59:18:065] : Start Handle: 0x002E
[17:59:18:065] : End Handle: 0x0030
[17:59:18:065] : UUID: 0xF3F4
[17:59:18:144] : 'GATT Error Notification' event received
[17:59:18:144] : Error Code: BLE_GATT_ERR_ATTRIBUTE_NOT_FOUND
[17:59:18:159] : 'Find Included Services' request sent
[17:59:18:159] : Start Handle: 0x0001
[17:59:18:159] : End Handle: 0x0007
[17:59:18:162] : 'Command Status' event received
[17:59:18:162] : Status: BLE_STATUS_OK
I attached the complete log from CySmart.
Does anyone have an idea about why I'm getting this error?
Edit: I realised that it happens not only in my custom project bu in every example project provided by Cypress. I have tested many ble server projects from the Cypress's BLE Project examples and it happened in all of them. Actually I do not encounter any misbehaviours, the device works well. But I just wanted to be sure if this is normal.
Show LessHello Cypress.
I would like to change capsense parameter(scan resolution, finger threshold, etc) from BCP(Bridge control panel).
Is there such sample code of PSoC4S?
Best Regards.

Show LessIn my project there is a Bootloadable component from Cypress, drug in from the right side under System.
When debugging I prefer to disable Bootloadable component in the top level schematic.
How can I make so the "debug" build setting excludes or disables it?
And also the so that the "release" setting includes or enables it?
Show LessHi. We are reviewing the use of the PSOC4700S for a pending design, specifically the CY8C4745AZI-S413 (48 pin TQFP).
In the posted datasheet, the following pins are missing:
pins 11, 15, 26, 27.
What are their functions?
Leave as NC (no connects)?
Pin 11 is a No-Connect in the 48-TQFP.
is noted in the datasheet but what about the others referenced above?
Thanks.
Show LessI would like to use Bluetooth device address (last 24 bit) as part of the Bluetooth Device Name. Is it possible we can program the device name before broadcasting the device name? Thanks!
Show LessHi Experts,
I want sample code that wakes up from Deep Sleep by WDT on CY8CKIT-147. Do you have this sample code? I referred to a sample code on PSoC4200M, but it doesn't work on PSoC4100PS.
Thanks !
Show LessHello,
I am using CY8CKIT-042 PSoC® 4 Pioneer Kit. I am using it for the CapSense design with 10 buttons and 2 sliders.
We are facing an issue where Touch Signal Value in the Tuner graph gradually decreases with the time even though the button is touched. Due to this, even thought my finger is on the button, after 6 seconds it's showing as finger is not active. Facing lot of issues due to this.
Attached the screen recording. Please check on Button1_sns0 value in the graph in orange color.
It's an very serious issue. Seems that sensor is gradually loosing it's sensing over the time even the finger is touched in a span of 6 seconds or so.
Please help as it's an serious and urgent issue.
Please let me know the solution asap.

Show LessThis code in the bootloader seems to make defining a callback macro for new commands for the bootloader difficult:
#if ((CYDEV_PROJ_TYPE != CYDEV_PROJ_TYPE_LAUNCHER) && (!CY_PSOC3))
/**
* This variable holds the pointer on the user's callback-function that implements the custom
* bootloader command processing.
*/
static Bootloader_callback_type Bootloader_callback = NULL;
#endif /*(CYDEV_PROJ_TYPE != CYDEV_PROJ_TYPE_LAUNCHER) && (!CY_PSOC3)*/
Using the standard bootloader, one appication to load, on the PSoC 4, the variable Bootloader_callback is set to the NULL function pointer.
This means I cannot set it to point to my code.
Why is this done? I wish to define new commands for the bootloader on the PSoC 4, and I THOUGHT callback macros was the way to go, until I see the above code.
This code appears in bootloader.c, target is PSoC4, and it is generated code, so I modify it at my peril.
What gives?
Show LessHello!
This is regarding the pre-programming options available for PSoC 4 MCU (CY8C4014FNI-421AT, 16-Ball WLCSP (1.45x1.56x0.42mm). I tried reaching out to a list of Device system programmer companies that help pre-programming the MCUs before soldering the device onto a target PCB. But I couldn't find any of the companies offer program adapters or programmers that can specifically help pre-program these devices. It will be great if someone could advise me on whether Cypress provides the compatible ZIF sockets for the WLCSP package that I can buy to design a program adapter for these small BGA devices.

Show LessI can't access the file "How to use software reset and retrieve the reset cause"
Once clicked, this link breaks and displays a load of garbage on the screen:

I've tried loading on both Chrome and Firefox and can replicate this issue in both browsers.
