Hello,

I took me a while of debugging my firmware to find out that at least two Cypress kits, namely CY8CKIT-043 and CY8CKIT-044, do not have populated pull-up resistor and filtering capacitor on XRES pin on a target PSoC.

The target device behavior is then very unexpected... If I connect the kit and freshly program the target device, the program runs (KitProg holds it). However, if I reconnect the device, the program doesn't run. If I debug the program, it runs fine...

Why? Two cents spared, but many troubles created...

I've got a question about the Signal Noise Ration of the Capsense module.

In the source code in capsense_processing.c (I'm using the CY8C4024LQI-S411 ), the difference of the raw count and the baseline value is calculated .

I've checked several of my PCBs (similar PCB layout) and asserted different difference values . Some bad PCBs have a ratio of 57, others 140.

I have changed the µCs on two boards to exclude the influence of the PCB itself and according the two values of 57 and 140. the lower one got better and the 140 value felt down to 90.

Does this phenomenon depend on tolerances of different cypress µC?

Please tell us of GPIO drive mode.

Does the maximum current, Output voltage low level and Output voltage high level change depending on the Drive mode?

I understand that the maximum current of GPIO is 25mA.

Hi, I'm using the code capsense tuner through bluetooth with psoc 4 vb but we have a refresh rate in the tuner of around 5 packets/second, we tried to increase it by decresing the resolution, but then the performances decrease too much. We need a higher refresh rate because we need higher frequency data for data collection. is there a better way to increase the refresh rate? should we act on the bluetooth or on the capsense component?

I am wondering the way to detect the touch force with CSD sensor (full auto mode). My device is CY8C4248LQI-BL583.

My BLE MIDI controller has 16 capsenses and can work simutaneously but It could be better to add velocity data by sensing the touch force when pressed. Please advise. Thanks.

I am using CY8C4124AZI-S413 (supplied with 5V) to read a voltage value using CapSense_ADC (release 5.0) block.

I need the formula to calculate raw to mV and viceversa.

Could someone help me, please?

Hi there

I am trying to do Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) update via BLE on a PSoC 4 BLE CPU. The FOTA contains BLE stack Update and Application Firmware update.

When the target CPU has project based on BLE v.3.60 component and the project to update is based on BLE v.3.63, a strange problem occurred. While the FOTA procedure executed without any problem (by using CySmart application on an Android device), the CPU fails to boot after the update. Only the Launcher executed and then nothing.

If the target CPU contains project based on BLE v.3.63 component the project to update is also based on BLE v.3.63 everything is OK.

Any idea?
