PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hello,
I have created a trackpad using the PSoc 4 MCU that will be utilized as a BLE Mouse to control a cursor on a computer screen. I would also like to collect information on the position of the finger on the trackpad. Up until now, I have used the Launch tuner to log this position data, however, I would ideally like this to be done on a computer software. How can change the provided BLE HID Mouse code by Cypress to read information related to the position of the finger on the trackpad rather than the displacement?
Thank you,

Can PSoC4000S: CY8C4014LQS-422ZT configure WDT2?
(Only one WDT can be set on PSoC Creator. Is this because there is no WDT2 function?)
Thank you for your supports.
Show LessHello,
I use a 4246AZI mcu, before enter into deep sleep mode, I make all components go to _sleep() and set all pins as Analog HIZ state except for one pin left for interrupt wakeup, I am sure all of pins no DC push or pull current loop , but I can messure about 800uA current when in deep sleep mode, which exceed my design target of 10uA, anything I miss consider?
I know to lower the clock freqency helpful for reducing the current, as my design need full speed response in normal run mode, so I set the IMO clock as 48MHz, anyway I guess the mcu will automatically stop HSI/IMO clock and clcoked by ILO in deep sleep mode,is it right?

Show LessHello,
I am trying a Driven-Shield with a handmade sensor with CSD.
The touch to the adjacent sensor affects the Signal value, and the Baseline gradually follows.
Since the Noise threshold is not exceeded, the Baseline will gradually follow.
1. Is increasing the distance between the sensors the only solution to solve this problem?
2. Can it be solved by enabling some filter?

Show LessIm experiencing clock latching from I2C slave.
I want to toggle the I2C clock (SCL) a few times to make the slave to release the line.
I couldn't find an API to do so.
How can I do that?
Show LessHi
Some times when I programm for the first time one chip (CY8C4147AZI-S443) when I whant to upgrade to other firmware, PsocProgrammer can´t never program again.
The chip must be replaced.
How is it possible? Any idea?
Exists other programmer "more industrial " than Miniprog?
Device supplied at 5V . In 30 devices I can found about 3 wrong.
I ´ve put 100nf capacitors in XRES pin and 1uf with || 100nf in VTARG.
Closer at 5 pin connector.
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I am trying a Driven-Shield with a handmade sensor with CSD.
0.01uF is implemented in the shield tank.
If I touch the sensor and release my finger suddenly, a spike will occur in the sensor signal.
What are the possible causes?

Show LessHello,
I am looking at "7.8 Pin Interrupt" in AN86439 for GPIO interrupt.
I have two questions.
1. For example, when assigning two interrupt pins, it is necessary to assign them to consecutive pins. Is it possible to arrange them at different positions like P0.2 and P0.7?
2. If the other interrupt is entered while entering the interrupt handler, we need to check the interrupt pending of Pin_Button_INTSTAT before executing Pin_Button_ClearInterrupt () and exiting the handler. And if the other interrupt is pending, It is also necessary to execute that interrupt processing. Is this correct?

Yocchi

Where can I find the specification for the total allowable device current for the PSoc 4 BLE (CY8C4248LQI-BL583)?
I looked in the datasheet, expecting to find it under "Device Level specifications".
There is a 25 mA spec for max GPIO current per pin, but nothing specifies how much total current the device can source or sink from all GPIO pins simultaneously.
I also looked in the TRM, but couldn't find it there either.
