I’m using example code CapSense_with_Breathing_LED01 and SenseTuner to display the capacitance.
But I’m enable to connect with device CY8CKIT-149.There is error message “There was an error reading data from the device”.
Please tell me how to fixed it.
Show LessDear Team Cypress,
Can CY8C4125PVE-S422 , together with Motor driver, control Stepper Motor through SPI communication for micro-stepping?
Can CY8C4125PVE-S422 and motor driver be used to achieve microstepping control feature with SPI to Stepper Motor?
The datasheet for the part, CY8C4125PVE-S422 ,follows: https://www.cypress.com/file/429186/download
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Ben
My dev-board is installed KitProg2 by default.
I want to update the firmware from KitProg2 to KitProg3.
Can I back-up default sipped state before update it by PSoC Programmer.
If I can't, could you tell me how to return from updated state to sipped state.
Thank you.
Show LessThe CYBLE-012011 BLE modules uses digitally tuned trimmer caps on the xtal to be on frequency. The example projects leave you with values of 0x2d6a (8.2pF, 14.3 pF) which by my measurements is way off by +100 ppm. There is a KBA that tells you to make it 0xbcbc (17.8 pF, 17.8 pF) which by my measurements is off by +19 ppm. https://community.infineon.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/ECO-Capacitance-Trim-Values-for-EZ-BLE-Modules-KBA218990/ta-p/249311
I'm using the raw PPS off a locked GPS (not a GPSDO) to gate the 24 MHz and measure the frequency. I've got three brand new CYBLE-012011 on completely different layouts and they all measure exactly +19 ppm hot using the recommended 0xbcbc. I find that 0xd9d9 (20.7 pF, 20.7 pF) gets them right around 0 ppm. Even with jitter a locked GPS PPS should give you significantly less than 1 ppm error.
SInce the KBA is from 4 years ago was there a change in the xtal in the module? I notice that some other modules have a recommended 0xd0d0. In any case, 2 x 20 pF on a xtal seems like a lot to me.
Could someone with a calibrated frequency counter double-check my results?
Show LessI want to see what is ready to use with my dev-board.
Regarding to section 3.4 "KitProg Driver Installation" (at KitProg User Guide (cypress.com) ),
I can use "Driver Software Installation" (at Figure-3.7) to check the state of dev-board available.
Could you tell me where is the software "driver Software Installation".
Thank you.

Show LessI'm new to PSOC usage. I have been assigned a completed project to update. It has been compiled for a CYBLE224110-00 MODULE, but I want build and upload it for a CY8CKIT-042 KIT.
I loaded the project and went to device selection, but I only see options for MODULE items and I don't see any options matching anything I could see printed on the KIT.
Does the KIT have an associated MODULE within it I could select? What would be the process for bringing up a pre-built PSOC4 project built for a specific PSOC4 BLE MODULE using the CY8CKIT-042 KIT?
Show LessI configure one discriptor for the DMA.
It is set for 10 transfers.
I do NOT configure it to invalidate the descriptor on completion.
10 triggers complete the transfer.
Now there is an 11th trigger. What happens? Does it wrap back to the original address? Or what exactly?
Show LessDears.
Is there a way to program a hex file without PC or laptop when using the miniprog3/4?
We need a simple programming method by connecting power to the miniprog without a PC on the production line.
For example, it means the function to program after saving the hex file in the memory of miniprog.
Or,
if there is a third-party product that provides these features, please let me know.
Thanks and Regards.
