1. Please refer to the KBA:

2. It is set by default by the Capsense component. PRS may not be the best solution in all cases. In some cases we have witnessed noises induced due to PRS signal. So, it is better if you set it to auto and the Capsense component will choose the best option for you.

Can you please let us know what issues the customer is facing with PRS in their project? This would help us understand better why the customer wanted to know this information. We generally don't give this information to the customer.

But, the customer finds it undesirable to adopt without knowing the mechanism properly.
