Suppose you designed and manufactured a board, inspired by the design of the Pionner Kit. Your intention is to integrate your custom peripheral board directly with a CYBLE-214009-EVAL board and make profit by selling it as a single product which will be used in industrial environment.
Now, the questions:
1) Is that legal?
2) Is the CYBLE module of such eval board an industrial grade one?
3) Is there other risks associated with the use of such composition in the field?
Thanks in advance

Hello Wendell,
I am answering your questions as below:
1) Is that legal?
A) Using this kit as a component of your product is perfectly legal. The suitability of such a use case should be evaluated by you, and Cypress will not guarantee the suitability of using our kits as a component in your product. Kindly be sure not use the Cypress logo or the brand name in your product, other than the ones which have already been used by Cypress in the kit. In case you download the manufacturing files from Cypress website for manufacturing on your own, please make sure to remove the Cypress brand name and logo.
2) Is the CYBLE module of such eval board an industrial grade one?
A) While we have followed industry norms in manufacturing the kits, our goal is to make the kits for evaluation purposes. We may not have tested these kits under industrial conditions, and as such, cannot guarantee industrial grade operation. Suitability of operation for Cypress kits under industrial conditions will have to be evaluated by you.
3) Is there other risks associated with the use of such composition in the field?
A) Cypress may decide to stop manufacturing a specific kit, in lieu of a kit of a newer design with more features, or due to one or more of a number of other decisions. The newer kit may be incompatible with the one which you may have used in your end-product. Kindly note that the life times of commercial products are very small compared to the life times of industrial products, and it applies to Cypress kits as well. In case you have finally decided to use one of our kits in your product, you can shield against this obsolescence by stocking enough replacement kits.
