I can not seem to get Creator to program a CY8C4247AZI using a MINIPROG3.  I am using the ISSP 5 pin connection on the MINIPROG.  What aim i doing wrong ... do i need to use a different setup to code this part?  I would sure appreciate some help in getting my CPU programmed in circuit.

Hi,

While using Internally regulated mode, external power must not be applied to the Vccd or Vcca pins. THIS MAY DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE.

From where is your pcb powered?

selected programming mode (power cycle or reset)

Did you try PSoC programmer?

Creator -> Debug -> Select Debug target. Miniprog connected to USB should show up.

PSoC Programmer: Latest version is 3.26. Check for updates. Can be that the miniprog needs update, PSoC programmer will tell you.

Your screenshot (which I didn't see until now) lets me assume that you are not running Creator 4.1.

Bob,

I believe this i my problem ... iam checking it out now.  I connected the VCCD pin to 3.3V and it should be connected from 1uF to Gnd.

See attached page from data sheet ... i missed this little detail ... hope it works.
