Hi

The maximum current is defined for a port to which the CapSense is connected.

The total port current should not exceed 40 mA while the CapSense block is scanning the sensor. Please refer to CapSense Design guide, sensor and device placement section for more details.

It is also not recommended to route any high speed switching lines close to the CapSense sensor pins or traces due to introduction of crosstalk which might lead to inaccurate results.

Do let us know in case of any further clarification.

Thanks and regards
