PSoC 4 MCU

Dear all,

I am using PSoC Creator 4.1 and while opening a firmware project "Simple Eddystone" which is shipped in the folders firmware with the latest CYALKIT-E02 RDK an error message appears, see attached image.

Any clue what could be gone wrong?

Whether the project has been opened before in Creator 4.2?

Try to download the latest version of creator, and open it again.

Hello,

I had v4.2 for a short while but I don't remember ever opening this project before. I did uninstall 4.2 and re-install 4.1 as I remember having problems with some of the projects and dependencies....

I will try to find a separate pc to install 4.2 for testing this project and see if that work.

I have just ​opened the original header file and I can see the project was done with PSoC Creator v3.3. Could it be that it needs an older version rather than the latest Creator?

I have tried both the Creator v3.3 and v4.2 but the same error happens, which doesn't load the TopDesign file.

I have attached also the original SimpleEddystone project for testing if it loads okay in case someone like to try it.

When I open the attached project, I found that some file are lost.

You can open a project, and make a comparison with each other.

I just started a new empty project, configured a new TopDesign with BLE and WDT component, copied the main header and c files.

I built, programmed and runs okay. No idea why in the original the TopDesign is missing, but now it is all right.
