PSoC 4 MCU

Hi All,

I am designing a capacitive touch panel with PSoC 4, for which I have designed a custom PCB.

I want to know what programming interface should be provided on the custom PCB for uploading the code to PSoC4?

Also If I buy CY8CKIT-059 PSoC® 5LP or CY8CKIT-043 PSoC® 4 M-Series Prototyping Kit will I be able to use the USB debugger to program the PSoC4?

If not then what debugger do I need to purchase?

Welcome in the forum!

For a self-made programmer / debugger the snap-off kitprog will be sufficient. A more professional solution wold be to buy a MiniProg3. Smallest interface needs 5 pins, GND, VTARG, SDA, SCL and XRES.

Lovelesh, As Bob Marlowe pointed out previously, you can buy a mouse development kit including the Miniprog3 for 1/2 price of the Miniprog3 alone. Go figure! http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy5682-proc-ble-touch-mouse-reference-de...

That Mouse Kit seems Awesome, about programing with the miniprog3 on the psoc4, If you ever want to work with EEPROM you definately need to program it through the miniprog3 via bootloader it wont work
