PSoC 4 MCU

I am using Kit prog 2 as programmer & debugger for my PSoC 4 BLE module(CYBLE214009-00).

But one of the programmers is not working.

Status led is used to stay ON when I connect to my board, But from few days it blinks & it's MCU gets heat up.

Suggest me what should I do?

Is it damaged?

Hi Jagir,

Could you please check if there are some short between VDD and GND?

If getting heat up, and very hot,  there must be something wrong on hardware.

With using the KitProg, other module can work or not?

Hello Ryan,

Yes, I check, there is VBus & GND pin are showing short in the USB connection side.

Does this have any solution?

Hello Jagir,

Sorry for my late response.

Seems a hardware issue. Not sure the root cause. The kit doesn't have protection circuits.

Better to use another GOOD sample to finish your project...

It was causing the problem, So i changed it as of now,

But if you know, Can you tell me what should be a precaution to not face this kind of issues again.
