PSoC 4 MCU

Hi,

Im new to EZ-Serial, are there any app notes to show how to use the CYBLE-012011-00 in central mode.

Is there a limit on the number of connections to peripherals etc ?

Any good sample implementations out there.

The application is an IoT gateway that needs to connect to dozens of sensors within range of the gateway.

The CYBLE-012011-00 is on the gateway.

thanks

Hello adrianburns1@gmail.com ,

    Please refer the EZ- SERIAL Platform guide from here - http://www.cypress.com/file/384521/download

Please refer page #38 on putting the EZ Serial device in central Mode.

On power up the EZ serial by default starts as a peripheral/server device. You can also use below commands to put the device in Central mode.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Power Up -- First Stop Advertisement -> /AX

Start Scanning -> /S

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

  • The PSoC 4 BLE/PRoC BLE EZ Serial device supports only one connection at a time. It is not possible to maintain concurrent connections.

Is it possible to have a connection from the EZ-Serial module to a Phone over BLE and also be observing advertisements from ibeacons or Eddystones?

best regards,
