I made a circuit where a CY8C4125AZI-S413 directly drives an iconographic LCD. The display has normal LCD segments. I tried to make it work and after 15 minutes the CY8C4125AZI-S413 got damaged, it became a short circuit. Is it a problem if CY8C4125AZI-S413 directly drives an LCD dislay with 3.3V?
CY8C4125AZI-S413 has the capability to drive an LCD. I don't necessarily think LCD is causing this issue. Can you please send your schematic for review?

Hello Henry,
I reviewed your schematic. Its not clear what the voltage V12 is and how much voltage arrives at the output (VDD) of the buck regulator (U1). Make sure VDD is between the range 1.8V to 5.5V. Please check this voltage.
