Hello Everyone. We had just gotten our CY8C4147AZI-S465's in and soldered them onto a board. We are attempting to program it using a Cypress Miniprog4 and we seem to have the hardware hooked up the way it should be. However, when we attempt to write to it using PsoC creator, we are able to see the Miniprog4 connected but it is not able to identify the semi conductor we have soldered. So my question is, do they come preshipped with a bootloader? Is there something we have to do to them before we are able to flash something to them like install the bootloader?
Thank you,

Hi,
>>"So my question is, do they come preshipped with a bootloader?"
-->Cypress PSoC is not shipped with Bootloader by default. The customer has to program the Bootloader and Bootloadable projects in case he wants to use the Bootloader feature.
>>"Is there something we have to do to them before we are able to flash something to them like install the bootloader?
--> No. You can directly program.
Please go through PSoC progamming/Debugging troubleshooting guide from the link below.
Troubleshooting PSoC® 3/4/5LP Programming/Debugging Issues - KBA210619
After going through the above kba if still the issue is not resolved, then please attach the project and the complete schematic of the board for us to check at our side.
Please compare connections of your board schematic with our development kit schematic.
Thanks
