PSoC 4 MCU

CapSenseのコンポーネントデータシートを参照すると、2本指のジェスチャ検出が存在しています。

しかし、実際にPSoC CreatorでCapSenseのGesture Tabを見ても指一本によるジェスチャしか項目がありませんでした。

2本指のジェスチャ項目が表示されていないのは何か条件があるのでしょうか？

しかし、私が知りたいのは「CapSense Gesture」ではなく、PoC Creator4.2から使用可能な、「CapSense v5.0」に関するジェスチャです。

At the top of the Gestures Tab, it states that:

The Gestures tab provides gesture-related configuration parameters. It is available for gesture-supported part numbers only. If gestures are enabled, all gesture parameters are systematically arranged by widgets/gesture groups.

Note This version of the Component supports gesture detection on one widget at a time.

My guess is that the version only allows 2-finger gestures if the underlying silicon supports it; No idea where you would look for that information however.

Hi,

You can check if gestures are supported by a part number, using device selector in PSoC Creator.

If gestures are supported, the CapSense field would display "Y w/Gestures".

The different gestures supported by each widget are mentioned in the component datasheet (page 44 of http://www.cypress.com/file/420216/download).

For multiple finger gestures, you can use CSX or CSD touchpad. You could also refer to page 39 (Two finger detection) of component datasheet.

For example, select "CY8C4166LQS - S433". This device support "Y w/Gestures".

But,Two finger gesture items will not be displayed even if touch pad is set with CapSense.(attached image)

Did you set centroid type as 5x5 and enable two finger detection, as described in page 39 of the component datasheet?
