Nor Flash Forum Discussions
Dear Cypress support team.
Our company is producing S25FL128SAGMFI003 128Mbit SPI Nor Flash (16-Lead SOIC) utilized applications.
Due to the shortage of parts condition, we are planning to change other alternative parts that is easy to purchase.
Then, we are planning to substitute wth the similar S25FL127SABMFI000.
All the command and software seems no problem, but unfortunately IC's 14pin seems different function.
S25FL128SAGMFI:VIO/RFU
S25FL127SABMFI:NC
We are using the VIO is same as VCC, so we supposed to no need to connect.
But unfortunately the real schematic was connected to the VCC although.
Is that OK with VCC will connect to the 14P NC pin ?
We hope it will cause no problems.
Your technical support is highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Yoshiaki

We are using the S29GL01GS parallel NOR flash (128 MB) in our new card. Its based on a reprogrammable FPGA. Is there any HDL driver code available for the basic read/write/erase operations which we can directly plug in our design?
Can we know the exact sequence for a write operation?

I got a flash from my friend who is a Software engineer , he find a strange problem , A FLASH ,P/N IS S25FL128SAGMFIR0, actually have no CFI inside .because he must do chip compatibility design, so question is if the CFI can be write in the flash.
Show LessHi,
I require the junction-case thermal resistance and max allowable junction temperature for S25FL512SAGBHVA10. Thanks!
Hello guys,
we plan to replace S29GL064N90TFI010 with S29GL064S70TFI010 in one of our product. At the moment we flashe the S29GL064N90TFI010 with Seggers J-Link. But S29GL064S70TFI010 is not supported by Segger J-Link.
Which flasher should we use ?
Kind regards.
Show LessHi,
I would like to know the max junction temperature and junction-case thermal resistance for S25FL512SAGMFI011. Thanks!
Does anyone know the ESD classification of the CYRS16B256? There is no mention of it in your datasheet. Thank you
Hi,
We are looking this part number S29JL032J70BHI320, but presently stock is not available.
Presently this part no.S29JL032J70BHI310 is available in stock with one distributor.
Kindly let me know both are same part number can we use this part S29JL032J70BHI310 against our required part number
S29JL032J70BHI320, other wise please suggest the exact equivalent part number for S29JL032J70BHI320.
We require samples S29JL032J70BHI320--Qty:10Nos. for this part number for our proto type requirement, kindly
do the needful
