I consider thermal analysis for my circuit using S29AL016J70T (TSOP 48pin package) .

I would like to confirm thermal resistance value of junction to case for S29AL016J70T.

Thank you for contacting Cypress Semiconductor

Cypress no longer use Theta JC on plastic/epoxy bodied packages. Instead, Cypress use Theta JA (junction to ambient)

and Psi JT (junction to top of case) for plastic/epoxy bodied packages.  Since the 48-pin TSO is a plastic/epoxy package,

there are many resistance paths.  Therefore, no specific thermal model is used.

Theta j-a :  40 C/W

Psi j-t :  17 C/W
