Hi Md Nasir,
Thank you for contacting Cypress Semiconductor.
As you will see mentioned in the S70FL01GS datasheet General Description section, "This document contains information for the S70FL01GS device, which is a dual die stack of two S25FL512S die. For detailed specifications, refer to the discrete die datasheet provided in the Affected Documents/Related Documents table."
Detailed description of the commands will be available in the S25FL512S datasheet here - https://www.cypress.com/file/177971/download

hello ,
i have concern regarding Write operation on flash(S70FL01GS)
1) is it possible to write Same byte in this chip without erase(like 1->1 or 0 -> 0)?
2) if same byte write is not allowed then is it possible to write consecutive byte write
for example i have following data in sector
Data in sector (00)
offset :0 , 1 , 2 , 3, 4, 5 , 6 , 7 , .....................512
------------------------------------------------------
Data 01,02,03,04,FF,FF,FF,FF.........................FF
----------------------------------------------------
New data to be write in sector (00)
offset :0 , 1 , 2 , 3, 4, 5 , 6 , 7 , .....................512
------------------------------------------------------
Data 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08........................FF
----------------------------------------------------
can we write data bytes(05,06,07,08.) to 4, 5 , 6 , 7 offset without erase, does it make any effect on offset 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 data bytes?
We would appreciate if you would share your feedback regarding above concern.

Hi Md Nasir,
1) It is possible to write same byte in the flash chip without erase.
2) It is possible to write data bytes (05, 06, 07, 08) to 4, 5, 6, 7 offset without erase without any effect on offset 0, 1, 2, 3.

I am facing problem in Sector Erase Cmd .
Please send me Low Level Driver code in C for S70FL01GS.
Thank you so much for Your Immediate and helpful response.

When we perform above operation does it decrease endurance of corresponding sector(Does it perform Erase operation in Background)??
If u have any support contact number so please send me ??
Thanks You.

Hi Md Nasir,
- You can download our Low Level Driver for SPI Flash from here - https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/low-level-driver-spi-flash?source=search&...
- There is no erase operation performed in the background when programming the flash with same byte.
- It will not decrease the endurance of the flash.
