Hi,

About the Quartus II, Quartus Prime of Intel on JTAG programming, Do you have experience with S29GL064?

In the material I found, the S29GL-S series only supports model numbers over 128 Mbit.

Is there a reason why S29G064S does not support it?

Hi,

We don’t have experiences with S29GL064S with Altera FPGA, but since S29GL064S is compatible with other CFI Flash devices, it should be supported.

The reason GL064S was not in the materials you are looking at is likely because the device is newer than other GL-S family devices.

User should just treat GL064S as any other CFI flash and it should work.

Thanks,

Nada
