Regarding CY14B101LA-BA45XIT, is there any command to read device ID or UID like flash memory?
The data sheet doesn't mention it, so can you tell me?

Dear Infineon Team, We have noticed multiple SP Number for OPN: FM24CL64B-GTR as follows: SP005640605 SP005640708 When checked on Opn - Infineon Technologies it reflects entirely different SP Number Is it common to have these type of differences. Please confirm. Thanks & Kind Regards Show Less

I am trying to get a cypress FM25V20A working with yocto linux. . I noticed another thread which is six years old mentions that there is no driver.. so instead we used the mentioned spi-nor.. https://community.infineon.com/t5/Non-Volatile-RAM-F-RAM-NVSRAM/FRAM-FM25V20A-linux-driver/m-p/42193#M94 . e.g in our dts file mram0: m25p80@0 { compatible = "jedec,spi-nor"; #address-cells = <1>; #size-cells = <1>; reg = <0>; spi-max-frequency = <40000000>; }; . This does sort of work but then the write speeds in a batch test are very slow.. . Writing data to /dev/mtd7... 1+0 records in 1+0 records out 20000 bytes (19.5KB) copied, 4.397923 seconds, 4.4KB/s Reading data from /dev/mtd7... 1+0 records in 1+0 records out 20000 bytes (19.5KB) copied, 0.038015 seconds, 513.8KB/s Just wondered if either a driver has been written in the last 6 years or perhaps there is another way to improve this writing issue.. we used WinCE in the past and it was anecdotally much faster. It says "If an invalid opcode is received, the opcode is ignored and the device ignores any additional serial data on the SI pin until the next falling edge of CS, and the SO pin remains tristated." in datasheet.

Can FM25V10 recover normally if new valid opcode is issued after system timeout by invalid opcode ?
