I want to program the MB91F467D in the circuit, the script asks for MD0; MD1e MD2 connected to Vss pin 73 reset SOT4 and SIN4 plus Vcc more of the error. Is there anything I can do to program it? Thank you for your attention.

Hi,

If you are asking for the minimum application circuit which is required for Flash programming, the mentioned signals are correct.

Of course, main clock should be applied on X0 and X1 (e.g. 4MHz crystal) and VDD5R must be applied as it is the input voltage for internal core voltage regulator.

Is there an error during programming? Which tool has been used?

Have a look on attached documentations:

  • Starterkit schematics for MB91F467 MCUs
  • Related User Guide. In Section 4.7 you find the signals to be required for In circuit programming
  • Hardware Manual for MB91F460 series. Mode pin configuration explained inn 9.4.3.

Internal bootloader is called only if boot security (BSV1, BSV2) is not enabled (see also figure 53.2-2). Otherwise, the device cannot be programmed via serial interface (UART4) but only via parallel interface with an adequate parallel programming tool.

Please also check if the signal SIN4 is measured correctly on the MCU pin.

Also, mode pin settings are very critical. Connect them directly to GND to check the behavior. It avoids that the device is entering the wrong mode (e.g. test mode).

Cheers
