Question: What is the use and the function of the ADV/LD pin?
The ADV/LD is not an address strobe pin. It is used to select between "Burst Mode" or "Single Read & Single write" mode. If a single writes and reads operation is desired then this pin can be tied LOW. If a burst mode is desired (Increment the address internally) then this pin has to be toggled between a high and a low.
