What are the recommended values for the following registers in the Traveo™ S6J3110/3120 series MCUs: PPC_PCFGR:NFE and EICxx_NFER:NFEx?
Port setting for CAN, multi-function serial (MFS), and communication features of the input should be as follows:
PPC_PCFGR:NFE=0, EICxx_NFER:NFEx=[0 or 1]
When you use both CAN and external interrupts, use the following setting:
In the case of the “PPC_PCFGR:NFE=1” setting, both CAN/MFS and external interrupt of the input ports have a noise filter; for the “EICxx_NFER:NFEx=1” setting, only the external interrupt of inputs have a noise filter.
You can set the CAN/MFS of the input ports such that they have no noise filter and only the external input ports have a noise filter in the “PPC_PCFGR:NFE=0, EICxx_NFER:NFEx=1” setting.
