Question: I am trying to read an EEPROM using the CY3671 Development Kit. The Control Panel utility is not performing the Vendor request, I cannot read the EEPROM.
Answer: Please ensure you have EZ-USB & FX selected as the Target device and that you have downloaded the correct vend_ax example from the C:\Cypress\USB\Examples\EzUsb folder. When issuing a vendor command to read a single byte addressable EEPROM, for example the 24LC00, use the A2 vendor command. When issuing a vendor command to read a double byte addressable EEPROM, for example the 24LC64, use the A9 vendor command.
