Minimum On/Off timers in the Hysteretic Controller
Question: What is the importance of minimum on/off timers in the Hysteretic Controller block?
The minimum on/off timers in the hysteretic controller block ensure that the controller block’s output does not change state until a definite time has elapsed. The timer pulse width prevents high frequency switching of the latch output (within the hysteretic controller block) which could result from high frequency switching at the input of the block. The timers guarantee a minimum ON or OFF time for the latch signals. For more information, please refer to the PowerPSoC Technical Reference Manual available at www.cypress.com.
