Question: Is it possible to implement the I2S with the PSoC for audio to talk with an external 16-bit Codec or DAC such as the AKM 4550?
Answer: Unfortunately, PSoC at 4MIPs does not have the processing power to process the I2S data in real time at the high data rates that are required for audio applications.
