Question: Are there examples on using enpoint 1 to read and write data?
Answer: Endpoint 1 limits you to 64 byte transfers. Because of the limits on endpoint 1 the examples tend to use the other endpoints. Also, EP1 cannot be used for Slave FIFO or GPI\F operations, The registers to be configured for data transfer on EP1 are exactly the same as for the other endpoint FIFOs with the endpoint number set as 1(for eg. EP1CFG). The bulkloop example on the CY3684 Kit contents avaliable for download here would be a good place to start.
