Question: What is the ESD tolerance of PSoC GPIO?
Answer: All PSoC and all Cypress parts are tested to 2kV human body model. In case of capsense, the PSoC has passed ESD tests upto 8kV with an insulator (0.2-0.256mm) over switch area. Greater ESD immunity can be accomplished with thicker overlays. Details of the overlays can be found here: Getting Started with Capsense
